How to prune tulipa 'queen of night'

Deadhead immediately after flowers fade; remove foliage only once fully yellowed (6–8 weeks after flowering). Snap or cut the spent flower head off at the top of the stem, leaving the stem and all leaves in place. Allow the foliage to die back completely on its own before removing it. Do not cut, braid, or cover the leaves while they are still green.
