These show hard tap water as brown leaf tips. In hard-water areas (London, the South East, East Anglia) use filtered, cooled-boiled or rainwater; soft-water areas can use tap water.

Fine on ordinary UK tap water in any region — the watering question for these is frequency and the winter cutback, not water quality.
