How to prune daffodil

Deadhead immediately after flowers fade; remove foliage only once fully yellowed (late spring to early summer). Snap or snip the flower stem at the base once petals drop, leaving all leaves intact. Allow foliage to lie naturally or loosely tie it — never braid or cut green leaves.
