Rhaphidophora — 15 species
Rhaphidophora is a fast-climbing genus of tropical aroids from Southeast Asia and the Pacific, best known for Rhaphidophora tetrasperma — widely called Mini Monstera for its naturally fenestrated leaves. These vines climb energetically when given a moss pole or trellis, and thrive in bright to medium indirect light; direct afternoon sun bleaches leaves. Water when the top inch of soil is dry, and keep humidity above 50% where possible. All species contain insoluble calcium oxalate crystals and are toxic to cats and dogs, causing oral irritation and vomiting if ingested.
