Faucaria8 species

Faucaria is a compact South African succulent genus best known for its plump, toothed leaves that give species like White Tiger Jaws and Faucaria tuberculosa their distinctive saw-edged look. These plants thrive in bright direct sun — at least four to six hours daily — and need very infrequent watering; let the soil dry out completely between drinks to prevent root rot. Water even more sparingly in winter when growth slows. All Faucaria species are toxic to cats and dogs and should be kept well out of reach of pets.
