What's eating my zantedeschia 'captain safari'?

Zantedeschia 'Captain Safari' is a garden calla lily grown for its vivid orange-yellow spathes. Aphids are the most frequent pest, congregating on flower stems. Slugs and snails attack foliage and shoots at ground level. Thrips damage spathes. In rural areas, deer readily browse these plants.

Sticky residue and dense colonies on flower stalks and emerging leaves; can transmit viruses. Knock off with water jets; spray with insecticidal soap or pyrethrin; encourage natural predators such as ladybirds.
