What's eating my wax jambu?

Wax Jambu (Syzygium samarangense) suffers most from fruit flies that devastate the thin-skinned fruit. Psyllids distort young foliage, and scale insects colonize branches. Fruit bats and birds also take ripe fruit. Bagging developing fruit clusters is the single most effective protection against multiple pests.
