What's eating my tigerella tomato?

Tigerella tomato shares all standard tomato pests. Aphids are the primary threat, clustering on soft new growth. Whitefly is especially problematic under glass where Tigerella is often grown to extend the season. Tomato hornworm can devastate foliage quickly outdoors, and slugs target young transplants and split fruit.

Dense colonies on shoot tips; honeydew deposits attract sooty mould; leaves curl and growth stalls. Knock off with water jet; insecticidal soap or neem oil; encourage beneficial insects such as ladybirds and hoverflies.
