What's eating my sempervivum 'oddity'?

Sempervivum 'Oddity' is a tough succulent rarely troubled by pests, but mealybugs and vine weevils are the main threats. Indoors, mealybugs hide in its tubular rosette leaves. Outdoors, vine weevil grubs silently devour roots. Root rot from overwatering is more commonly the killer than any insect.
