What's eating my sarracenia flava var. ornata?

Sarracenia flava var. ornata grows in outdoor bogs and is attacked by aphids on new pitchers, scale insects on stems, moth caterpillars that bore into or chew through the tall yellow pitchers, and slugs on young growth. Aphids are the most frequently encountered pest. Hand-pick and use alcohol swabs rather than chemical sprays.
