What's eating my rose of jericho (resurrection plant)?

Rose of Jericho is an extremely hardy resurrection plant with very few pest problems. When kept in its water-revival dish, fungus gnats may breed in the standing water, and mould or algae can build up. Mealybugs very occasionally colonise the curled fronds. The best defence is using fresh water every 1–2 days and allowing dry rest periods.
