What's eating my rhoeo spathacea 'tricolor'?

Moses-in-the-Cradle 'Tricolor' (Tradescantia spathacea) is a bold-leaved tropical houseplant most often troubled by spider mites and mealybugs. The dense leaf rosettes are good hiding places for mealybug colonies. Fungus gnats can appear if the plant is overwatered. Check the undersides of the tricolour leaves regularly.
