What's eating my purple allamanda?

Purple Allamanda (Allamanda blanchetii) is a vigorous tropical climber whose most troublesome pests are spider mites and whitefly, especially in warm dry conditions or when grown under glass. Mealybugs and aphids also occur. High nitrogen fertilizing worsens susceptibility. Inspect leaf undersides regularly and treat at first sign with neem oil.

Pale speckling and fine webbing on leaf undersides; leaves turn bronzed then drop. Worst in hot, dry weather or low-humidity indoor settings.
