What's eating my pontederia cordata 'pink pons'?

'Pink Pons' pickerelweed has the same pest vulnerabilities as the species. Aphids are the chief nuisance on flower spikes and stems. Pond snails graze emerging leaves, and in wildlife ponds, ducks and geese may disturb shallow plantings. It is generally resilient and rarely suffers severe pest damage.
