What's eating my plover eggs?

Plover Eggs (Adromischus festivus) is a compact, slow-growing succulent rarely troubled by pests. Mealybugs are the most common threat, tucking into the gaps between the chunky mottled leaves. Root mealybugs can also attack unseen below the soil line. Overwatering invites fungus gnats. Check between leaves and at soil level during repotting.
