What's eating my pink princess philodendron?

Pink Princess Philodendron attracts the same indoor pests as other climbing philodendrons. Mealybugs and spider mites are the most common, and thrips are a significant risk — they scar the prized pink and dark-green leaves, reducing the plant's ornamental value and market value. Scale insects also appear on mature stems.
