What's eating my pinguicula laueana?

Pinguicula laueana is a Mexican tropical butterwort kept indoors. Its mucilage-covered leaves trap fungus gnats opportunistically, but the plant is still vulnerable to root-attacking fungus gnat larvae and to mealybugs settling in the crown. Overwatering-driven root rot is the most common accompanying stress that worsens pest damage.
