What's eating my peperomia scandens?

Peperomia scandens (false-philodendron peperomia) is a trailing houseplant most often troubled by mealybugs along its cascading stems. Fungus gnats are common with overwatering, and spider mites can appear in very dry, heated rooms. Its relatively tough, waxy leaves make severe outbreaks uncommon with basic care.
