What's eating my pellionia daveauana?

Pellionia daveauana, a low-growing tropical trailer, is most often attacked by spider mites in dry indoor conditions, which cause pale stippling on its patterned leaves. Mealybugs and scale insects also appear in stem joints and along the creeping stems, and fungus gnats breed in overly wet soil.
