What's eating my peace rose?

Peace Rose is targeted by aphids, Japanese beetles, and black spot fungus (which attracts secondary pest pressure). Spider mites attack in hot, dry summers. Japanese beetles are the most destructive in the US; aphids dominate in the UK. Inspect weekly and act early — Peace is a vigorous grower but not disease-immune.
