What's eating my moonshadow euonymus?

Moonshadow Euonymus faces the same severe euonymus scale threat as all Euonymus fortunei cultivars. Scale insects encrust stems and can kill plants outright if left unchecked. Euonymus caterpillar, aphids, and vine weevil round out the main threats. Spring inspection and horticultural oil treatment are the most important preventive measures.
