What's eating my nepenthes 'miranda'?

Nepenthes 'Miranda' is a vigorous hybrid kept indoors, most commonly attacked by mealybugs and scale insects. Thrips and aphids also occur. Because Nepenthes are sensitive to most pesticides, favour manual removal with isopropyl alcohol swabs, careful water rinsing, and keeping chemical sprays away from the pitcher fluid.
