What's eating my lindheimer's muhly?

Lindheimer's Muhly is a tough Texas native with excellent pest resistance. Aphids are the most common visitor, occasionally appearing on soft new growth. Scale insects can colonise stems in warm, humid conditions. Deer typically avoid it. Established clumps require almost no pest intervention under normal growing conditions.
