What's eating my hoya memoria (gracilis)?

Hoya Memoria (Hoya gracilis / Hoya memoria) is a delicate, trailing Hoya with softly textured leaves. Mealybugs are the dominant pest threat, with spider mites a close second. Its softer leaf texture compared to other Hoyas means damage from feeding insects can appear more quickly. Inspect stem nodes and leaf undersides at every watering.
