What's eating my hedera helix 'ivalace'?

Hedera helix 'Ivalace', with its tightly curled ruffled leaves, gives spider mites and mealybugs plenty of hiding spots, making them the top threats on this houseplant. Scale insects colonise older stems. The dense leaf curl makes early detection harder, so inspect leaf undersides and axils closely and regularly.
