What's eating my hameln dwarf fountain grass?

Hameln Dwarf Fountain Grass has excellent pest and disease resistance — it is one of its most valued traits. Aphids and spider mites can occasionally appear, and rust may show during prolonged damp weather. Deer and rabbits typically avoid it. Overall pest pressure is very low with standard garden care.

Soft insects on new shoots producing honeydew; leaf tips may curl or yellow slightly in heavy infestations. Dislodge with water spray or treat with insecticidal soap. Natural enemies usually suppress colonies; insecticide is rarely needed.
