What's eating my cushion aloe haworthia?

Haworthia cymbiformis is primarily attacked by mealybugs hiding at the base of its boat-shaped leaves, and by root mealybugs below the soil. Spider mites can colonise in very dry indoor air. Its tendency to form dense offsets creates hiding places for pests; check the clump base and undersides of older leaves regularly, especially after repotting.
