What's eating my crassula columnella?

Crassula columnella, with tightly stacked triangular leaves, is most often attacked by mealybugs, which nestle in the leaf margins where they are hard to dislodge. Vine weevil root damage is a risk if grown outdoors in summer. Spider mites can flare in low humidity. Regular close inspection of the column bases is key.
