What's eating my amaryllis 'christmas gift'?

Hippeastrum 'Christmas Gift' is a white-flowered indoor amaryllis. Mealybugs are the primary pest, hiding in bulb scales. Thrips are especially visible on white petals, leaving silvery rasping damage. Narcissus bulb fly can hollow out stored bulbs. Inspect at planting and check leaves every two to three weeks.
