What's eating my cambria orchid?

Cambria Orchid (Vuylstekeara Cambria 'Plush') is a cool-growing indoor hybrid most threatened by spider mites, which flourish in the warm, dry air of centrally heated homes. Mealybugs, scale insects, and fungus gnats in the potting compost are also common. Overwatering invites root rot more than any pest.
