What's eating my begonia 'sophie'?

Begonia × 'Sophie' is a hybrid houseplant begonia likely of cane or shrub type. Mealybugs at stem nodes and leaf axils are the primary pest, followed by spider mites on leaf undersides and fungus gnats in the potting mix. The hybrid vigour doesn't confer pest resistance. Mealybugs remain the most persistent indoor concern.
