What's eating my alocasia sanderiana?

Alocasia sanderiana (Kris plant) is a rare, narrow-lobed tropical grown indoors. It is highly susceptible to spider mites, which exploit the low humidity of indoor environments. Mealybugs colonise its distinctive ruffled leaf margins. Because this species is slow-growing and costly, catching infestations early is especially important.
