Canary creeper is a fast-growing annual climber from the Andes, producing a profusion of bright yellow fringed flowers from midsummer to first frost. It twines to 3 m on trellis or netting and thrives in cool, moist conditions — it is particularly at home in the maritime climate of the UK. Flowers and young leaves are edible.
