A popular hybrid sword prized for broad leaves marbled with dark reddish-brown spots over green to bronze. Hardy and undemanding like other Echinodorus, it makes a striking large rosette as a tank centrepiece. Higher light intensifies the spotting and reddish tones; it feeds heavily through its roots and breeds true from plantlets.
