How to prune wherry's foamflower

Deadhead immediately after flowering in late spring to early summer; tidy foliage in early spring. Snip spent flower stems at the base once blooms fade. In early spring, remove any winter-damaged or dead leaves by pulling or cutting them away from the crown.

Deadhead after each flowering flush; light tidy once annually in spring. Wherry's Foamflower needs very little pruning. After flowering, cut back spent flower spikes to the base to keep the plant tidy and encourage a second flush of foliage growth. Remove any tatty or diseased leaves at the base through the season. It is semi-evergreen; in cold climates tidy up in early spring rather than cutting hard in autumn.
