Rarely — only for dead growth and post-bloom rosette clean-up. Upright Nidularium needs minimal pruning. It forms an upright rosette that blooms once and then offsets. Remove any dead or browning outer leaves at the base as needed to keep the plant looking clean. After the mother rosette flowers and declines, remove it to give space to the pups.
