Immediately after harvest (late summer to early autumn). Remove all canes that fruited this year by cutting them at ground level. Keep 6–8 vigorous new canes; tie to a wire trellis at 15 cm spacings. Tip-prune retained canes at about 1.8 m if they exceed trellis height. Much easier to handle than thorned forms.
