Midsummer (July) for main cut-back; deadhead throughout the season. Cut all stems back by up to one-half above a healthy leaf node using clean, sharp scissors. Water and feed well after cutting; new growth and reblooming typically appear within two to three weeks.

One main cut-back per season; deadhead as needed. Supertunia Vista series are vigorous and largely self-cleaning, but stems can become long and bare by midsummer. Cutting back by one-third to one-half at that point reinvigorates flowering strongly. Deadheading individual spent blooms is optional but keeps baskets and borders looking neat between the main trim.
