How to prune stromanthe triostar (tricolor)

As needed. Stromanthe 'Triostar' requires minimal pruning. It does not need cutting back or shaping. Prune only to remove leaves that are fully yellowed, browned, or dead by cutting cleanly at the base. In spring you can tidy the clump lightly, but hard pruning is neither needed nor beneficial.
