Every 4–8 weeks for light shaping; otherwise as needed. Staurogyne repens is a compact, low-growing aquatic plant used as a foreground or mid-ground specimen. It grows slowly and needs only modest pruning — mainly trimming creeping stems that spread beyond their intended area and removing any yellowing lower leaves. Regular heavy pruning is not necessary.
