How to prune midas touch rose

Late winter to early spring at bud swell; deadhead continuously through bloom season. Prune canes back to 12–18 inches above ground, angling cuts above outward-facing buds. Remove dead, diseased, and spindly wood entirely, leaving 4–6 vigorous canes per plant.

Annually (hard prune); deadhead every 1–2 weeks. Midas Touch is a hybrid tea whose brilliant golden blooms depend on annual hard pruning.
