Like other Lobelia erinus cultivars, it benefits from a mid-season trim after its first flush exhausts. Shear the whole plant back by one-third to rejuvenate growth and encourage a fresh wave of lilac flowers. Without this cut, plants often become bare in the centre and stop flowering.
