Annually after harvest / flowering. Grosso is a vigorous lavandin that must be pruned annually — it grows large quickly and becomes a woody, untidy sprawl without cutting. Trim hard (but above bare wood) immediately after the single main summer harvest flush. This cultivar is primarily commercial but the same rule applies in the garden: cut back by up to one-half of the leafy growth.
