Deadhead continuously late spring through summer; hard cutback in midsummer. Snip spent flower stems cleanly to the base. For the midsummer reset, cut all stems to just above the basal rosette, water well and apply a balanced liquid feed.

Deadhead weekly during flowering; one hard cutback per season. Geum 'Prinses Juliana' produces semi-double orange flowers over a long season and responds well to regular deadheading to extend blooming. Cut spent stems back to the basal rosette. After the main flush subsides, a harder cutback of all stems encourages fresh foliage and sometimes a second flush.
