Once per year after flowering. Dancing Lady Orchid needs very little pruning. After the branching spray of yellow flowers fades, cut the entire spike down to the base at the pseudobulb. Leave all green pseudobulbs intact — they fuel the next flush. Remove only completely shrivelled, brown pseudobulbs. This species blooms from new growth, so healthy pseudobulbs must be preserved.
