Once a year after flowering, or as needed for directional control. Creeping rosemary (Prostratus) is a low-spreading ground cover that needs very little pruning. After flowering, lightly trim any stems that are heading in an unwanted direction or that look straggly. Avoid hard pruning into bare wood — it rarely breaks back from leafless stems. Light shaping once a year is sufficient for most gardens.
