How often does bronze sedge need pruning?
Annually or as needed. Bronze Sedge (Carex comans 'Bronze') is an evergreen, low-maintenance sedge. It needs only light tidying. In late winter or early spring, remove dead brown tips or untidy outer leaves with scissors. You can also give the whole clump a light trim to neaten it, but avoid cutting into the crown at soil level. Divide congested clumps every 3–4 years.
