As needed — a few times a year as older leaves die off. Anthurium regale is a foliage specimen grown for its enormous velvety leaves — it needs almost no pruning. Remove individual leaves only when they turn fully yellow or brown and die back naturally. Do not cut green or partially discolored leaves; the plant reabsorbs nutrients from them.
