How to prune aloe 'delta lights'

Any time — remove dead leaves as needed; cut spent flower spikes after blooming finishes. Pull or cut dead outer leaves close to the base with clean, sharp scissors or a knife. Remove finished flower spikes by cutting the stalk as low as possible without disturbing the rosette.

As needed. Aloe 'Delta Lights' rarely needs pruning. Remove dead or shrivelled outer leaves at the base as they appear, cutting cleanly with sterile scissors. Do not cut into the central rosette. If flower spikes appear and finish blooming, snip the stalk at its base. No structural pruning is needed or beneficial.
