Autumn as the plant exits summer dormancy and resumes active growth. Cut stems back to your desired height or to a side branch with clean secateurs. Rosette cuttings root readily: leave a 10 cm stem, callus 3–5 days, then plant in gritty mix. Remove dead post-flowering rosettes cleanly at the branch junction.
